Hi, i’m a student using MiningMath in an industrial mineral mine, but have been facing some issues with the software.
Some info on my settings: I use fake destinations so i have have 8 destinations, as i had to double my original destinations to simulate moving the crusher. My settings in the production tab is one destination with 2 000 000 (t) and the total production set to the same amount. The rest of the destinations with the same crusher location is set to unlimited, and the fake destinations are set to zero. The plan is to let MiningMath choose the best case within a set total amount of production.
However sometimes the scenario will result in a total excavation of my entire blockmodel, far exceeding the production total each period, and the total amount which would have been possible if all the periods produced the maximum allowed amount each time.
What causes this also seems entirely arbitrary, sometimes its the restrict or force mining files. Other times it can be implementing averages, summations or switching with the fake destinations.
I was wondering if this problem has a solution?
Best regards,
Erlend
Hello, Erlend,
I can try to help. Can you send a Print Screen from your Overview tab, so that can properly see which restrictions you are using?
