Average
Highlights
Calculating average values across scenarios is key for assessing risk and performance in mining operations. MiningMath’s Average feature supports integrated optimization by aggregating results from multiple runs, reducing manual rework and enabling faster iteration. Its unique approach allows unconstrained risk analysis, while automation and API scripting streamline testing and communication of average outcomes to inform operational decisions.
In the Average subtab, following the Geometric subtab, you can define the minimum, maximum, and weight for the average values of any element or mineral imported as an Average field.
Average constraints can be defined by period ranges, destinations and destination groups.

For each element or mineral imported in each destination and period range, you can set the corresponding weight, mining values, and maximum values.

Weight is defined on a block-by-block basis and is associated with an imported field. The minimum and maximum values serve as limits for the average values of the corresponding material or element within the specific destination and period range (read more).
